Pool Attendant you will:
- Be a Clean and Healthy Fanatic - keep the swimming pool areas (including bathrooms, showers and lockers if requested) sparkling and in full working order for guest enjoyment and safety. Make sure pool temperature, chemicals and supplies are well maintained.
- Be a Guest Care Specialist - deliver exceptional service to elevate the guest experience, attending to their needs, while ensuring our guests' safety and enjoyment. Take special care in watching over any children that might be in your work area to ensure they are safe and/or have proper adult supervision.
- Be an Equipment Guru - help guests with equipment and recreation activities; respond with prompt graciousness to special requests and questions.
- Be a Safety & Security Agent -- follow your hotel's established safety and security policies & procedures as well as all OSHA and health department guidelines, reporting issues to maintenance.
Requirements
Job Requirements A high school degree or equivalent is preferred as is previous customer service and hotel experience. A Lifeguard certification is an asset. This role will use equipment such as a two way radio, pool vacuum and various other pieces of cleaning equipment. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively in English as well as the ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately. Physical requirements include the ability to work long hours, many of which can be on your feet. Can be very Heavy work -- Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force from time to time and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, ability to multi task. The right candidate will possess the ability to bend, stretch, twist or reach with your body and arms and will be able to work under variable temperatures and noise levels. Must have the ability to work under variable temperature conditions and noise levels, both indoors and outdoors as well as around chemicals or fumes.
