Mental Health Therapist - Limited Permit

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist with a limited permit to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide counseling and therapy services to individuals and families facing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with clients to identify their mental health concerns, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to foster positive outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify mental health concerns and determine appropriate treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs and goals.
• Provide individual, and couples therapy services.
• Collaborate with clients' families, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in the field.

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling (MHC).
• Limited permit to practice as a Mental Health Therapist in the state.
• Experience working with individuals and families with mental health issues.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient with technology.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Creole, or French preferred.
• Seeking licensure or currently holds a Limited Permit in NYS.
