Senior Patient Account Representative

A company is looking for a Senior Patient Account Representative - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct follow-up activities on patient accounts to resolve outstanding balances

Research accounts using patient accounting applications and contact payors or patients for collection information

Assist in training new staff and support team members with backlogged accounts

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent education

2-5 years of experience in medical / hospital insurance-related collections

Basic knowledge of Commercial, Managed Care, Medicare, and Medicaid insurance

Intermediate knowledge of CPT and ICD-9 codes

Minimum typing speed of 45 words per minute
