Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support our Chiropractic practice . This individual will assist with patient evaluations and treatments, perform clinical and administrative duties, and ensure a smooth and welcoming patient experience.
What You'll Do
- Assist the chiropractor during patient evaluations and treatments.
- Prepare, restock, and clean patient rooms as needed.
- Interview patients and update health information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
- Document patient data following best practice standards and HIPAA compliance.
- Support providers during exams and procedures.
- Provide translation services when able.
- Clean and sterilize instruments.
- Complete necessary forms and distribute patient education materials.
- Answer telephones courteously, addressing patient questions and routing information to providers.
- Perform start-up, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of clinical equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training related to patient care, cultural competency, OSHA, HIPAA, and EHR use.
- Follow standing orders, protocols, and all CLIA, OSHA, and HIPAA requirements.
- Perform prior authorizations as needed.
- Attend and participate in QA / QI processes and meetings as assigned.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance and adhere to company policies, procedures, and code of conduct.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.Medical Assistant Certification required.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification required.Strong typing and computer skills required.Knowledge of EMR systems, medical terminology, medications, immunizations, phlebotomy, and lab processes preferred.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality, work both independently and collaboratively, and thrive in a fast-paced clinic setting.Why Join Noble Community Clinics?
