About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of D2C to spearhead the next phase of its US e-commerce growth. This role is pivotal in the brand's evolution, as it seeks to bring its premium, craft-led products directly to consumers in the US market. The successful candidate will be responsible for the commercial and growth leadership of the D2C business, developing and owning the growth plan, and leading the full D2C marketing strategy. A key focus will be on refining the model, deepening customer insight, and expanding the brand's reach. The role demands a leader who can balance creativity with commercial rigor, ensuring that the brand's heritage and craftsmanship are reflected in the customer experience while driving commercial outcomes.
The ideal candidate for this role at the company is a commercially sharp, creative, and grounded D2C leader with a proven track record in scaling e-commerce businesses, particularly in premium consumer, lifestyle, craft-led, gifting, or luxury categories. They should have a strong understanding of digital growth levers and experience in leading small teams and managing external partners. The role requires a leader with a knack for connecting brand storytelling with commercial performance, clear communication, and a structured, organized approach to work. While familiarity with the US consumer market is helpful, it is not essential. The Head of D2C will also be expected to work across UK and US time zones, with occasional travel, and must be prepared to champion a test-and-learn culture, and share insights to support fast, informed decision-making across the business.
