Responsibilities Work in the Emergency Department of a hospital setting Night shifts from 5 : 00 PM to 5 : 30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week Two 13-hour call shifts required per 6-week schedule, with one-hour onsite response required Cares for Level 1 Trauma patients Uses EPIC for charting and documentation Responsibilities include patient assessment, developing and implementing care plans, and continuous evaluation Responsible for both patient and staff safety, and effective communication with colleagues, patients, and families Maintain up-to-date and accurate nursing documentation Maximum of 7 days requested time off permitted per 13-week contract Contingent workers may not remain on assignment for more than one year consecutively and must take a six-month break before returning No travel partners accepted for this assignment Requirements Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Minimum of three years of relevant nursing experience required Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS (American Heart Association) Experience working in Level 1 Trauma Emergency Departments required Documented EPIC charting experience required ASN required; BSN preferred Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-628168.
