MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WORKING IN AN ACUTE SETTING

Assist surgeons during surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a sterile environment.

• Handle and dispose of specimens and medical waste.
• Position and drape patients for surgery.
• Count surgical instruments and sponges to ensure accuracy.
• Assist with post-operative care, such as applying dressings and transporting patients to recovery.
• Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including setting up sterile fields and equipment.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments, retractors, sutures, and other supplies.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout the procedure.
• Monitor patient safety and report any complications to the surgical team.
