AERMOR is seeking a highly skilled Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) III professionals to support our cybersecurity and risk management framework (RMF) efforts. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive expertise in cybersecurity, risk assessment, and Navy validation standards to ensure that Navy systems meet all accreditation and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities :
- Perform Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities in accordance with the Navy Risk Management Framework (RMF) process.
- Validate and review RMF lifecycle documentation to ensure systems maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Conduct risk and vulnerability reviews, assessments, and audits to verify compliance with Navy accreditation requirements.
- Document findings, identify non-compliance areas, and recommend remediation strategies.
- Collaborate with Navy stakeholders, system owners, and cybersecurity teams to support secure system development and sustainment.
- Maintain expertise in evolving cybersecurity policies, Navy standards, and Department of Defense (DoD) directives.
Qualifications :
Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) certification is required.IAT Level II certification is required.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications Systems Management, or related STEM discipline from an accredited college / university.Minimum of 10 years of practical experience in cybersecurity or A&A-related roles, including :Implementation and review of RMF lifecycle documentation.
Validation of system security posture (confidentiality, integrity, and availability).Execution of risk and vulnerability assessments, including documentation of compliance and non-compliance.Powered by JazzHR
