Outpatient Only | Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM
Bon Secours Memorial Regional Medical Center, located in Mechanicsville, Virginia, is seeking a Board-Certified / Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join our dedicated outpatient team. We provide comprehensive care for adults (18+), focusing on prevention, wellness, and the long-term health of our patients.
Our established practice combines the stability of a respected health system with a collegial, supportive team culture that values both clinical excellence and work-life balance.
Position Highlights
Setting :
- Outpatient only (on MRMC campus)
- Patient Population : 18+
- Average Patients / Day : 18–22
- Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM
- Call : Every 4–7 days, rotating weekends
- Coverage : Weekdays 5 PM–7 AM; Weekends Friday 5 PM–Sunday 6 PM
- Shared among 8 physicians
- Urgent issues only – no refills or controlled medications
- Average 1–10 calls per shift
- Virtual Health : Optional MyChart Virtual Visits for routine and acute care
A Typical Day
You’ll see a mix of routine, acute, and wellness visits, including :
You’ll work alongside 7 experienced MD / DO colleagues who value teamwork, quality care, and mutual support.
