About The Position

Data Collection : 6 / 3 / 2025 Unit Information : (insert name) Location : Rio Grande Regional Hospital Address : 101 E Ridge Rd McAllen, Tx 78503 Floor : 1st floor, cath lab Building : General Information Tell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds 2 cath lab rooms Number of Staff Current needs are 2 FT techs and 6 FT RN s. Current staffing includes 1 FT RN, 1 agency RN, 2 prn RN s Type of staff : o Day Shift Staff works M F from 0645 until done. Rotate call from Thursday- Thursday every week o Night Shift Call team available on weekends and after hours. Patient Ratios 1 tech and 2 RN s per pt Type of equipment GE Innova. Will be getting a Siemens Artis Icono Bi Plane system in June EMR Meditech for the hospital. The cath lab uses Merge Hemo for documentation. Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS ARRT Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Skilled with closure devices Cath Lab experience (performing diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, PPM implants etc) List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Cerebral angiograms Carotid stents Thrombectomies Cerebral embolizations Best personality Fit : Willing to learn new skills Willing to help in whatever capacity is needed Team player Takes initiative REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS : BLS Floating Area(s) : Help in cath lab if no neuro cases scheduled. IR if needed Dress Code : Scrub Color / Attire - Facility provides OR scrubs Unit Guidelines / Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
