Information Technology Manager

The Town of Lexington is accepting applications for the position of Information Technology Manager. Under limited supervision the Information Technology Manager manages and maintains the Town of Lexington's information technology systems, networks, hardware and software. The Manager will ensure effective user support, operational efficiency and minimal downtime of all of the Town's information technology systems. The Manager will manage systems development, oversee the operation, maintenance and upgrade of computer hardware and software. The Manager will install, configure and repair computer hardware, software and its related peripheral equipment. The Manager will supervise IT staff, as well as perform related technical and administrative work as required.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field supplemented by six to eight years of responsible experience in information technology operations or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
