Mechanical Designer

A company is looking for a Mechanical Designer to provide design support for hardware products.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize 2D and 3D CAD to communicate design intent, inspection requirements, and test methods

Develop technical knowledge to understand design constraints and create solutions to technical problems

Collaborate with vendors and manufacturing experts to optimize designs for function, aesthetics, and manufacturability

Required Qualifications

5+ years of mechanical design industry experience

BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field

3D CAD experience; 2D drafting and GD&T knowledge is a plus

Experience in the design cycle from concept through manufacturing is preferred

Experience designing mechanical components for mass production is a plus
