The Nasher Museum is celebrating 20 years of bold, forward-thinking exhibitions and groundbreaking collections. As Visitor Services Supervisor, you'll be at the heart of our guest experience - leading a team, refining operations, and ensuring every visitor feels welcomed, informed, and inspired.

What You'll Do :

• Lead Daily Operations :

Open and close the museum, manage signage and promotional materials, monitor phone lines, and maintain visitor count records.

Coordinate schedules, assign tasks, lead onboarding and training, and support performance development.

Share exhibition and event details, assist guests with special needs, enforce policies, and collaborate across departments to enhance engagement.

Attend trainings, research artists, and stay current on exhibitions to enrich visitor interactions.

Ensure ADA compliance, operate mobility support services, and provide accessible exhibition materials.

Monitor public spaces, coordinate with housekeeping, and ensure gallery materials are presentable.

Take on additional responsibilities that support the museum's mission and daily operations.

Anticipated Pay Range :

Duke University provides an annual base salary range for this position as USD $18.92 to USD $28.09. Duke University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position; candidate's work experience, education / training, and key skills; internal peer equity; as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
