We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer candidate to join our world-class engineering team.  The primary mission will be to support recoveries of non-standard conditions of our complex system which contains multiple engineering disciplines. Daily activities will include investigation of events, preparation and improvements of response tools, and analysis of current conditions.  The selected team member will learn and execute component related procedures.

• Monitoring and logging of system conditions
• Maintain good working relationships through direct interaction and collaboration with customers, peers, and associate contractors
• Execution of subsystem related processes
• Maintain awareness of operation status of subsystem hardware and supporting monitoring scripts
• Utilizing analysis methods and tools to troubleshoot various events
• Learn and understand a wide application of technical theories and concepts
• The candidate must be able to work full-time from within our customer on-site facility.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

Location Information : This position is for an onsite role in Aurora, CO (Buckley AFB).

As part of our commitment to maintaining a secure hiring process, candidates may be asked to attend select steps of the interview process in-person at one of our office locations, regardless of whether the role is designated as on-site, hybrid or remote.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and / or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
