Job Summary :
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of inventory control to ensure accurate tracking, management, and optimization of materials. This role leads the inventory team and implements best-in-class inventory practices to maintain operational efficiency and cost control. The Inventory Supervisor collaborates closely with procurement, logistics, and production teams to ensure data accuracy, streamline processes, and support overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, tracking, and distribution of materials.
- Ensures timely receipt & distribution of materials within established timeframes.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using the warehouse management system.
- Drives consumption of Surplus materials.
- Conduct regular audits, cycle counts, and reconciliations to ensure stock accuracy.
- Analyze inventory data, prevent shortages, and minimize excess stock.
- Implement best-in-class inventory control procedures and practices.
- Collaborate with purchasing, production, logistics and product group teams to align processes with the business needs.
- Monitor and report key inventory metrics such as turnover rates, surplus usage and carrying costs.
- Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings within the supply chain.
- Provides world-class customer service to internal customers & product groups.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (preferred).3–5 years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.3-5 years of experience in managing and leading peopleStrong knowledge of inventory management systems.Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL (Solomon) preferred.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong communication and leadership abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Working at Zeeco means being part of a people-centric culture and environment built on mutual respect, personal encouragement, professional integrity, and limitless opportunity.
