Vascular Echo Technologist - Travel Position

Location : Vicksburg, MS

Job Type : Travel Contract

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 5x8s

Pay : $2055 / week

Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vascular Echo Technologist to join our team. The Vascular Echo Tech will perform high-quality vascular and echocardiographic ultrasound studies, assist physicians in accurate diagnosis, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, technically proficient, and committed to excellence in vascular and cardiac imaging.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform vascular ultrasound and echocardiography procedures according to established protocols.

Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort, safety, and optimal imaging results.

Operate ultrasound equipment and evaluate images for diagnostic quality.

Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support accurate diagnoses.

Maintain accurate records and document imaging procedures in compliance with facility standards.

Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures.

Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards.

Qualifications :

Completion of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Technology program

Certification through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)

Current state licensure

BLS certification, COVID vaccine, TB test

Minimum 1 year of vascular / echo ultrasound experience
