Job Summary :

SVI Trucks is seeking a skilled and proactive Accurpress / Press Brake Operator to join our team. In this role, you will operate and maintain Safan Darley and Accurpress press brakes to form sheet metal parts from various gauge materials. The role involves reading technical drawings, programming CNC press brakes, and collaborating with design and manufacturing engineers to ensure precision and efficiency in production.

Essential Functions :

• Execute proper setup and operation of Safan Darley and Accupress press brakes based on best practices.
• Perform 1st piece and in-process inspections to verify components meet quality standards.
• Inspect components and assemblies against documentation to ensure accurate fit and quality compliance.
• Document measurements, processes, and any discrepancies.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental teams and engineers to support business and product-related projects.
• Follow work instructions and document any inconsistencies or potential cost savings.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Work independently while adhering to established procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation : $18.00 - $21.00 / Hour DOE
