Atrium Health  is seeking a talented  Academic OB / GYN Generalist within our nationally renowned academic medical center. Our faculty team currently consists of 4 academic hospitalists and 6 academic generalists who work together to provide coverage of OB and GYN patients alongside resident physicians.

Academic OB / GYN Generalist

We are recruiting a full-time academic  OB / GYN Generalist  to join our dynamic team at Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) in Charlotte, NC. This role offers a comprehensive academic practice that combines patient care, medical education, and research.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inpatient Obstetrics : Supervise residents and medical students in care of patients on Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and OB Triage units

Approximately 3,500 deliveries annually including low- and high-risk patient populations

Provide backup call from home overnight and on weekend as needed

Supervise resident continuity and specialty GYN clinics

Resident and medical student didactic sessions
