JOB SUMMARY :
The responsibility of this position is to promote the development and growth of the SMS Interventional X-ray business. The primary role will be to develop, track and close Interventional X-ray product business with all sales channels.
Interventional X-ray Product Specialist will also be responsible for the training of the sales channel for Interventional X-ray products and processes, assist in the development of sales tools (product collaterals, product presentations, etc.), the development and maintenance of reference and show sites, the development of system prospects and frequent interface with the Director of the Interventional X-ray Business.
This position will assist in the development of the SMS Interventional X-ray Sales Strategy to ensure on plan orders and sales performance. The person in this role will work closely with the National Sales Manager, Marketing Manager, and Sales Specialists, and x-ray engineering staff.

QUALIFICATIONS :
This person must fulfill the obligations listed above while continuing to enhance his / her clinical and business knowledge to remain current
or preferably
ahead of clinical trends. This person must maintain the capability to transfer this knowledge to the SMS customers and sales channel and communicate closely with that channel. This position is key to the achievement of the SMS growth-oriented business plan.
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
LANGUAGE SKILLS : English required.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS :
Business math skills required to design and execute an appropriate business strategy as well as skills commensurate with product planning.
REASONING ABILITY :
Business reasoning capabilities required for this position. Must have the capability to reason, develop, and execute an appropriate business plan for the Interventional X-ray business as well as reasoning ability commensurate with sales and product planning.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS :
Must maintain a valid U.S. Passport
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Approximately 60 -70% travel required. Travel primarily throughout the United States. Travel to Japan, Canada, the Caribbean, and abroad are also possible. Must have the physical capability to meet the demands of the schedule (negotiate airports, hospitals, etc.).
WORK ENVIRONMENT :
The work environment is primarily on-site in hospitals and clinics as well as SMS Sales Channel Offices and Headquarters. Frequent attendance of trade shows also required.
SALARY :
$90-110 annually depending on education and / or work experience plus a bonus plan OR commission.
