About the Role

The Company is in search of a Permanent Tax Director to lead the strategic direction of its tax planning and compliance functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and review of all tax returns, developing and implementing tax strategies, and advising on the tax implications of business decisions and potential acquisitions. This role requires a seasoned tax professional with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a tax leadership role, in-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws, and a proven track record with tax credit and other incentives, particularly in the renewables sector. The Tax Director will also be tasked with identifying and mitigating tax risks, managing a team of tax professionals, and staying abreast of changes in the tax landscape.

Applicants for the Permanent Tax Director position at the company should hold a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a Master's degree or CPA being highly preferred. The role demands exceptional leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively.
