Tax Accountant

Job Summary

• The successful candidate must have a CPA and tax return experience
• EA certification and Trust tax returns a plus

Prepares tax returns, conducts tax research, ensures compliance, and assists with tax planning activities for Creative Financial organization. Maintains tax records, prepares tax returns, and tax related schedules and reports. Prepares paperwork for local, state and federal level returns for submission within specified deadlines. Analyzes new tax laws, regulations, and judicial decisions to ensure the organization is compliant.

Minimum Education :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Minimum Experience :

Job specific experience to include federal and state income tax return preparation and tax compliance and using research software.

Certifications :

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation or Enrolled Agent - REQUIRED
