Job Title : Ignition Lead Developer

Location : Jefferson City, MO

Mode : Onsite for 2 months then hybrid

Looking for W2 Candidates. No C2C

Job Description :

Manage deployments with Kubernetes and automate CI / CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ensure best practices, and provide documentation / training.

Required Skills :

Experience in at least one full Ignition deployment from design to go-live.

Strong knowledge of Ignition (Perspective, Scripting) with modular and scalable design expertise.

Proficiency in Python, Java, SQL, and Timescale DB for backend logic, automation, and data workflows.

Skilled in web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) for building responsive industrial dashboards.

Hands-on experience with industrial protocols (MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus) and tools like Hive MQ.

Familiarity with Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, and CI / CD pipelines in manufacturing / OT environments.

Experience : 5+ years in IIoT, Ignition, Edge Computing with 10+ years in Automation.

Education :

Bachelors in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Manufacturing or Industry 4.0 experience.

Familiarity with Cloud Platforms (AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or similar)

Knowledge of IIoT security practices.

GitHub portfolio with relevant projects.
