Page Designer (Hydrid / Remote)

Wick Communications is seeking a creative, efficient, and detail-oriented Page Designer to join our central newspaper pagination team. In this role, you’ll design pages for daily newspapers and specialty publications across our diverse portfolio of markets.

Responsibilities

• Design and produce assigned news pages accurately and on deadline
• Communicate effectively with fellow design team members
• Coordinate with advertising staff to produce and finalize page dummies
• Collaborate with local newsrooms to budget and proof news content
• Create and maintain templates for frequently used page elements
• Participate in regular team meetings

Qualifications

This is a full-time position based in Tucson, Arizona, though remote work may be considered for the right candidate. The role will require some evening and weekend work, in addition to a typical Monday-Friday schedule.
