Responsibilities Position is based in an OB Postpartum unit of a hospital Cares for labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn patients 12-hour night shifts from 1830-0630, three shifts per week Weekend requirement of two full weekends in a six-week period On-call requirement of three weekend shifts in a six-week period May be required to float to any location within a 60-mile radius or designated float zone EPIC EMR is used in this unit; experience is preferred Responsibilities include patient assessment, plan of care development, medication administration, wound care, IV therapy, and performing deliveries and postpartum care Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team and participates in patient / family education May float and perform duties outside of original assignment per hospital policy Flu vaccination is required during flu season; only medical exemptions with physician documentation are permitted Professionalism and role modeling are expected, including mentoring and participation in quality improvement initiatives Compliance with dress code and hospital policies is required First-time travelers are considered Candidates must be willing to work holidays as scheduled Requirements Active CO or compact RN license required at time of consideration Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Current American Heart Association BLS certification required Current NRP certification required Current Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) or AWHONN certification required At least one year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience preferred All certifications must be active at time of consideration Locals within a 60-mile radius are not eligible Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-622072.
