Responsibilities

As a BIM Coordinator / VDC Coordinator, your key responsibility will be to serve as a vital team member by implementing BIM technology to assist in the construction coordination process driving exceptional quality and service.

A.

BIM

Review 3D Models from consultants and contractors.

Early design and review and constructability analysis.

Produce designs based on structural specifications, engineering notes, sketches and / or detailed drawings and design information according to project standards and procedures.

Plan / utilize model data during all phases of construction

Develop and conduct BIM kickoff meetings.

B.

VDC

Understand, promote, and implement VDC standards, processes, and technologies

Coordinate constructability reviews and assist with model reviews

Develop, capture, and maintain existing site conditions models

Work closely with the quality department to ensure completeness and adherence of company standards of all shop drawings produced

Coordinate the production of as-built models and drawings with subcontractors.

What it takes

Proficient with AutoCAD, BIM360, REVIT, Bluebeam, and SketchUp.

In-depth knowledge of construction processes, procedures, and sequences.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

Relevant experience in construction with drafting experience, drone flying, and / or BIM.
