Hours:
- Seasonal position: April - December
- Mon - Fri 6am - 4pm, some Saturdays
Duties:
- Operate machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Set up machines before starting production, including calibration and configuration.
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings to maintain product quality.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet specifications.
- Troubleshoot issues and perform basic repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Maintain accurate production records, including output counts and downtime logs.
- Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
- Follow safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures and use of PPE.
- Collaborate with supervisors and technicians to optimize productivity.
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating manufacturing or industrial machinery preferred.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, or technical documents (preferred).
- Good attention to detail and quality control awareness.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required.
- Strong understanding of safety practices in industrial environments.
