Position Overview

Optigy is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum assignment in El Paso, TX . This position offers flexible scheduling in a modern emergency department serving a diverse patient population. Physicians should be comfortable in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and capable of delivering efficient, high-quality emergency care.

Requirements

Active Texas medical license and TX DEA

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine

Completion of an accredited residency program

Must have active clinical practice experience within the past 12 months

Current certifications in ACLS, ATLS, and PALS preferred

Clean file required for presentation

Responsibilities

Provide full-spectrum emergency care to patients of all ages

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and emergent medical conditions

Work collaboratively with nursing staff and APPs to ensure patient throughput and quality care

Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the EMR

Deliver professional, evidence-based medical care in alignment with Optigy and facility standards

Position Details

Start Date : December 20, 2025

Schedule : Flexible 12-hour shifts

On-call : No

Telehealth : No

Daily OT after 12 hours; Weekly OT after 168 hours

Estimated Credentialing Timeline : 60 days
