Job description

A Financial Services company is hiring to support the CFO on budgeting and strategic initiatives.

Must have 5-12 years of financial planning and analysis experience from a similar industry.

Financial Modeling & Forecasting :

  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Use these models to inform strategic decision-making and business operations.

Strategic Planning & Leadership Collaboration :

  • Work closely with leadership to shape long-term plans and set financial targets.
  • Align financial goals with overall business and corporate objectives.

    • Executive Communication :

  • Create high-quality presentations and executive summaries that present financial insights to senior leadership.
  • Convey complex financial information clearly and concisely.

    • Special Projects & Analysis :

  • Lead and manage special projects focused on financial analysis, market research, and competitive landscapes.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives with data-driven insights.

    • Visualization & Data-Driven Decisions :

  • Use advanced data visualization tools to enhance decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

    • Build the FP&A Function :

  • Define and establish the FP&A function as the first hire in a growing CFO organization.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.

    • The role involves both strategic and tactical elements, requiring a combination of financial expertise, leadership ability, and communication skills to drive business success.
