Database Analyst

We are seeking a skilled Database Analyst to join our team in San Francisco, California. This position is a contract-to-permanent opportunity, requiring a detail-oriented individual with a strong technical background and hands-on experience in database management and data migration. The role involves working on-site three days a week and contributing to the seamless integration and optimization of organizational data systems.

Responsibilities :

• Lead the migration of data from legacy systems into Apricot / Bonterra, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout the process.
• Utilize Apricot’s tools to design and modify forms, fields, and import mappings for complex datasets.
• Extract, transform, and clean data from scattered legacy databases using SQL Server and Access.
• Validate, troubleshoot, and verify data to maintain compliance with reporting standards and privacy regulations.
• Develop training materials and provide hands-on support to non-technical staff during the transition to a unified data system.
• Design and implement reporting and visualization solutions using tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure data integrity and promote consistent practices across all programs.
• Monitor and improve data quality to support grant and contract reporting needs.
• Provide technical guidance to staff and foster a collaborative, mission-driven work environment.
