Job Title : Welder / Fabricator

Job Description

This fast-paced role involves performing MIG and stick welding of various metals, ensuring precise alignment and welding of products based on specifications and engineering drawings. The position requires fitting and grinding manufactured parts, utilizing quality instruments to ensure accuracy, and primarily performing MIG welding, with occasional TIG or stick welding as needed.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flow and quality assurance.
• Utilize print and fit components, measuring and cutting as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Work Environment

The role is on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 2 : 30 PM to 10 : 30 PM, with potential overtime on weekends. Average hours worked are currently 50 - 55, with efforts to reduce this through additional hiring. Overtime may be required every other Saturday. The team is small, with a focus on independent work. Uniforms are provided, or employees may wear their own work clothes, with jeans or work pants, short-sleeved shirts, and steel-toe boots recommended. Some tasks require cut-resistant gloves. The manufacturing facility is temperature-controlled, clean, and well-organized, with hearing and eye protection required due to noise in some areas.

This is a Permanent position based out of Lexington, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43680.00 - $52000.00 / yr.
