Job description

Community hospital needing to bring on Director Behavioral Health! Full Relocation!

Ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s) / department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. Fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.

  • Who does this position report to? CNO
  • How many total beds are in the unit? 48
  • Trauma level

Level II Trauma Center

  • Volume : 48 beds / 38 AVG Daily Census
  • How many FTEs will the candidate be overseeing? About 24
  • What additional departments are they over? Just BHU
  • What are the qualities that leadership likes? Compassionate, can handle pressure

    • Qualifications :

  • 5 years of Recent (Within the last year) Acute Care Inpatient Behavioral Health Manager or Assistant Nurse Manager experience required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
  • Other-Fingerprint Required
  • Bachelors Degree Required
  • RN License Required
