Aircraft Mechanic

Overview

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for an Aircraft Mechanic

Position Type : Full-Time Contract

Duration : 6 months (Temp to hire)

Location : China Lake, CA

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate, and monitor all maintenance actions required to support Avionics Work Center operations in accordance with CNAFINST 4790.2 series and associated government and Company instructions.
• Apply professional technical expertise and guidance to solve complex problems by interpreting technical data such as Maintenance Instructions Manuals (MIMs), technical directives, and associated data packages.
• Make work assignments, track completion of assigned tasks, provide status updates and feedback to supervisory personnel, and perform spot monitoring and corrections as needed for all Avionics Work Center functions and associated operations.
• Report any maintenance or disciplinary infractions to supervisory personnel.
• Investigate accidents, incidents or infractions to discover root cause and recommend corrective actions including disciplinary actions to supervisory personnel.
• Ensure assigned personnel participate in FOD walkdowns, safety drills, training events and other scheduled events as directed.
• Must be a technically qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable individual who can exercise an appropriate level of responsibility in the Avionics area.
• Provide technical support to electronic project engineers and utilize organizational skills to prioritize workload to meet the daily flight schedule.
• Provide technical guidance and expertise to lower-level technicians throughout all aircraft modifications and / or maintenance efforts.

Pay Range and Benefits

Pay Range : Between $40 to $45 per hour

Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
