Shift : 6 : 45 PM - 7 : 15 AM

Experience :

• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Meditech is preferred from any number of months.

Requirements :

50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Patient Ratio : Pit, mag, or Insulin Drips - 1 / 1, Couplet Care - 1 / 3

Patient Types : Mix - Mainly obstetric / neonates, hypertension, GDM, try not to deliver anyone less than 36 weeks

Must be able to read and interpret fetal strips

Must be able to read strips - will float to Medsurg & ER as needed

RNs required to titrate drips - Pitocin, Insulin, Magnesium

RNs required to read their own strips

No self scheduling

Block scheduling is allowed

Floating Requirements : Yes - Medsurg, ER. wherever in the hospital the nurse is needed

Perm staff is usually first to float

Dress Code : Scrubs - Maroon; scrubs are provided and RN will change once on the unit into our surgical scrubs

Orientation : 3 shifts

Candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity within the past 12 months

RTO needed upfront - Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions

Annual Skills Checklist is required for submission and can’t expire during the expected contract dates.

Eligibility as Current / Previous Employee : Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.

Facility holidays : 01 / 01 / 2025, 11 / 27 / 2025, 12 / 25 / 2025. Number of holidays allowed off : 1. Start assignment restriction : 14 days

1 reference from last 12 months (Charge / Lead reference type) - required for submission

1 reference from last 3 years (Manager / Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
