Shift : Days, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM, Monday – Friday, 40 hours guaranteed

Weekend : Every 4th weekend

Position Overview

The X-Ray Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic imaging services to patients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This role may include performing imaging in the operating room as needed. The technologist ensures high-quality patient care, maintains safety standards, and accurately documents procedures in the EMR.

Essential Duties

Perform routine diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and hospital policy.

Operate and maintain all assigned X-Ray equipment.

Assist in operating room imaging procedures as required.

Provide patient education, comfort, and safety during imaging procedures.

Maintain accurate records and document procedures in EPIC.

Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years current X-Ray experience – Required

Operating Room experience – Strongly preferred

Previous / current travel experience – Highly encouraged

NYS Radiologic Technologist license & ARRT (R) – Required

BLS – Required

EPIC EMR experience – Required
