Security Officer-Part Time

Security Guard Requirements:

• 18 years of age and older
• High School diploma or GED
• Active CA BSIS (Bureau of Security and Investigative Services) Guard Card-We offer guard card training if you don't have a current guard card.
• Must have excellent communication skills
• Professional presentation, appearance reflecting customer service skills
• Authorized to work in the US
• Pass background check/random drug testing
• Schedule adherence and punctuality
• Must be able to climb stairs, stand, walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to retain knowledge, information, and directions on an ongoing basis and communicate effectively with others.
• Ability to react appropriately in emergency situations & skills in operating portable radio devices.
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement a plus

This job is 80% customer service oriented and 20% security; consisting of monitoring ballroom and meeting room entrances, loading docks and roving certain locations. We watch over life and property, perform general crowd control and access control duties. As a Security Guard your duties will include, but are not limited to: Compliance with specific post instructions, badge checking, roving, monitoring access of doors and equipment, and other duties that may be required or assigned by management.

Part time/on call position with flexible scheduling, potentially leading to permanent part time/full time positions. We offer competitive pay and benefits including career advancement and holiday pay on select holidays.

Salary: $18.00-$24.00 DOE
