Compensation

This role offers a competitive minimum base pay starting at $15.00 per hour, with opportunities for higher starting pay based on your experience.

Our Mission

At Floor & Decor, we aim to be the go-to destination for our professional customers in the hard surface flooring industry. In this role, you will play a vital part in building relationships with our PRO customers, earning their trust, and contributing to their business growth. You will report directly to the PRO Services Manager and will be integral in executing our PRO priorities.

• Key Requirements
• High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate Degree or higher is a plus.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in retail or wholesale contractor sales, service, supply, or professional installation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or CRM software is a plus.
• Bilingual in Spanish or another prevalent language in the Store trade area is advantageous.
• Essential Responsibilities
• Execute our PRO Services Blueprint to create an exceptional experience for our PRO customers.
• Provide support at the PRO desk including handling phone calls, managing orders, and handling customer support and escalations.
• Collaborate with the Store Team to identify and engage with PRO customers within our Store.
• Maintain extensive knowledge about Floor & Decor products.
• Train the Store Team on effective sales processes.
• Educate our PRO customers about our business to encourage their participation.
• Promote the PRO Premier Rewards Program and demonstrate the benefits of the PRO APP.
• Advocate for PRO Credit Solutions such as the Commercial Business Account or PRO Premier Credit Card.
• Coordinate and assist with customer activities in-store.
• Participate in all store initiatives.
• Deliver engaging presentations highlighting programs and benefits.
• Exhibit excellent customer service skills and a results-oriented approach.
• Show strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively across diverse cultures and levels.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Occasionally travel with the Pro Services Manager to customer and PRO job sites to present Floor & Decor's benefits and capabilities.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary to achieve business objectives.
• Working Conditions
• This is an hourly position and may require working more than eight hours per day.
• Travel may be required for up to 20% of the time.
• Occasional exposure to warehouse conditions and moving vehicles; noise levels can be moderate to high.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently; ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
