Seasonal Support Worker
Schedule / Hours : M-F 8 : 30 AM 5 : 00 PM with 30-minute break
This position is responsible for : Under the general supervision of the Angel Tree Program Coordinators, the Seasonal Support Worker is responsible for a wide array of tasks to support the Christmas Angel Tree operation. Tasks consists of administrative functions, to include paperwork, application processing, as well as warehouse functions to include receipt, storage, and distribution of donations given to The Salvation Army during the Christmas season. The Seasonal Support Worker will assist with loading, unloading, and sorting donations; moving donations and other materials into the warehouse; assist in the setup, clean up and break down of the warehouse. The incumbent may also act in the capacity of a Truck Driver as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions : Ability to lift scales, hand trucks, and dollies. Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate in the English language. Ability to perform route mathematical calculations. Ability to occasionally lift boxes of materials, donations. Ability to load, unload, secure and protect goods. Ability to set up and break down materials at events. The working environment is a warehouse with a cement floor where a majority of the day is spent. Temperatures vary from approximately 30 degrees to below 0 in the winter. The position involves going in and out of the warehouse space into the cold throughout the day.

Licenses and Certifications : Valid Driver's License and must meet TSA MVR Requirements.
