Job descriptionUses metal core mig, tig, fluxcore or stick welding process (must pass two or more) Ability to pass applicable test(s) and applicable Non Destructive Exam May weld brackets and braces and use grinders. May position pieces to be welded into jigs, holding fixtures, guides and steps using measuring instruments and hand tools. May perform position welds on code materials Proficient in flame and plasma cutting torches Must have some experience reading and understanding blueprints Must be able to operate basic cutting equipment Promotes and supports safety, production and positive attitude Must be able to work with the team in developing improved work processes for the department Requires employee to rarely type and use a computer and other office equipment, such as copier, printer, calendar, telephones, etc. Requires operation of heavy such as welding tools on a constant frequency and forklift on an occasional frequency Able to weld according to Welding Procedure Specification and its parameter requirements Knowledge of different types and sizes of pipe, structural and vessel materials Must pass a 3G test for vessel / tower or 6G test pipe Preferred Training & Certifications Certification to weld on pipe or plate.

- Fitting experience preferred
