You will be part of a dedicated experienced and high-performing team at the Medtronic Energy and Component Center (MECC) in Brooklyn Center MN. At this facility we design develop and manufacture components used in medical devices such as pacemakers neurostimulators implantable cardio-defibrillators and insulin assembler role is responsible for the day-to-day production of components used in our various medical devices. You will be a key member of a manufacturing team that is dedicated to safety quality continuous improvement and achieving production goals. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

• Performs a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations.
• Works from visual aids method layouts diagrams schematics process flow sheets and written or verbal assembly instructions.
• Sets initial layouts and uses a variety of tools to prepare product(s).
• Makes continuity checks on work in process and completed.
• May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
• May disassemble modify rework reassemble and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

Perform finer assembly skills including microscopes.

Perform final inspections / testing.

Ability to train in multiple areas.

Experience working in an clean room manufacturing environment.

Hands on self-reliant and strong attention to detail

Team player with high personal motivation.

Work with minimal direction

Strong problem-solving skills

High awareness of the importance of quality and safety.

Excellent communication skills and a team focused work ethic.

Experience was fast production ramp-ups.

Basic-to-advanced computer literacy skills

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD) : $45200.00 - $67800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Operations Incentive Plan (OIP).

The starting base rate of pay for this position and location is $23.00 per hour. The base rate is applicable across the United States excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
