Position / Specialty : Respiratory Therapy / Registered Respiratory Therapist

Start Date : 12 / 17 / 2025

Job Location : Lake City, Florida

Shift : 5x8 Rotating

No Local Candidates living within 50 mile of the location.

The ideal candidate will have at least two (2) years of recent experience in their healthcare field with travel experience. They should be responsible, well-trained professionals capable of providing excellent care with minimal supervision. The candidate should be compassionate, composed, and able to follow health and safety guidelines consistently. The goal is to promote patient well-being by delivering high-quality care.

Required :

Minimum Education and / or Experience Required : The Respiratory Therapist job requires graduation from an accredited school of Respiratory Therapy and basic computer literacy. Licensure / Certification Required : National Board for Respiratory Care Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required. Must have or obtain a current Minnesota Respiratory Therapist (RT) license before first date of employment. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent determined by site is required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) where applicable.All respiratory therapists will hold the National Board for Respiratory Care entry level certification (CRT) prior to their first day of Mayo employment. All graduate respiratory therapists must possess valid permission (permanent or temporary permit) to practice with the licensing board in the state of hire prior to their first day of Mayo employment. The Registered Respiratory Therapist credential is required upon hire or by the end of one year of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent determined by site is required. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) where applicable. Additional life support certifications may be required by site of hire.Traveler Requirement - ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP is required for certification
