Primary Purpose

To manage and be responsible for the marine department achieving budgeted contribution; to manage a team of adjusters and surveyors and to produce quality claim handling and services.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external customers.
• Monitors workloads to ensure work is properly allocated.
• Responds to and resolves complaints.
• Achieves budgeted margin for department operations.
• Develops and maintains customer relationships and works with VP of Marine to develop new clientele.

Qualifications

Education & Licensing Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred

Experience Ten (10) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and cost of specific location. For the jurisdiction noted in this job posting only, the range of starting pay for this role is 50-100k.
