Responsibilities

• Under supervision, organize and provide a basic level of general nursing and behavioral and psychiatric nursing care to patients in correctional health care settings.
• Deliver care in accordance with the Mental Health Program Guide, policies, procedures, and regulations, under the delegation and clinical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN) and in collaboration with the health care team.
• Address ongoing patient needs, support daily health care operations, communicate effectively with patients and health care team members, and promote efficient, appropriate, and cost-effective use of health care resources.
