ChildWatch Counselor- Mornings / Weekends

The YMCA of Central Texas is searching for passionate, energetic positive role models to join our team as ChildWatch Counselors !

The ideal ChildWatch Counselor is a strong communicator and problem solver who is able to engage with children aged 6 weeks to 13 years.

This is a year-round Part-Time position. Monday- Friday 8 : 00am- 12 : 00pm , as well as weekend shifts Saturdays 8 : 00am-1 : 00pm, Sundays 1 : 00pm-4 : 00pm . Must be flexible to work during school breaks.

We are offering $250 bonus for new staff!

Essential Functions :

• Ensure the safety of participants at all times through active supervision while meeting the individual needs of each child in their care
• Model the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility at all times
• Be an appropriate, positive role model

Skills / Requirements :

Pay Rate : $13.00 to $15.00 / hour
