Responsibilities
Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and machinery.Perform regular preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems.Repair and replace electrical components and systems, ensuring safety standards and regulations are met.Install and upgrade electrical systems and equipment as needed.Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.Collaborate with electrical engineers and other technicians to ensure seamless integration of electrical and mechanical components.Ensure equipment meets safety and regulatory standards.Diagnose electrical problems using testing equipment such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.Identify root causes of electrical malfunctions and develop effective repair solutions.Interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints to locate and rectify issues.Adhere to all safety protocols, including lockout / tagout procedures, to prevent accidents and injuries.Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions and equipment breakdowns.Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.Other duties as required.Ideal candidate / Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is preferred.Knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment and hand tools.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal) with the ability to work in a team environment.Demonstrated initiative and the ability to handle complex assignments with a proactive attitude.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls when necessary.Organized, self-starter, results oriented, problem solver.Work authorizations and travel
