As Head of Product, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution of a SaaS-based online learning platform, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs. You will translate strategic direction into actionable product plans, oversee backlogs, and guide cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality product releases. This role requires balancing big-picture vision with detailed execution, using data-driven insights to prioritize initiatives and measure outcomes. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Learning, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to create measurable impact, optimize ROI, and foster continuous innovation. Mentoring junior team members and promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration, and customer focus will be key to your success. This position operates in a fully remote environment with occasional travel for company gatherings and stakeholder engagement.

Accountabilities

  • Define and manage product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business priorities and measurable ROI.
  • Lead customer discovery, gather insights, and translate them into actionable product requirements and user stories.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Design teams to scope features and ensure customer-centric solutions.
  • Oversee product execution, including launch plans, decision logs, and delivery checklists to ensure high-quality releases.
  • Track metrics, analyze post-launch results, and communicate lessons learned to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate cross-team alignment across Sales, Marketing, Content, and Leadership to support product goals.
  • Mentor and coach junior product team members in discovery, backlog management, and outcome-driven planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of professional experience, including at least 8 years in product management roles.
  • Proven experience owning and scaling SaaS-based products, ideally in online learning or related industries.
  • Skilled in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a track record of delivering measurable business and customer impact.
  • Strong financial literacy and experience evaluating ROI, unit economics, and payback for product decisions.
  • Expertise in customer discovery, analytics tools (Mixpanel, Amplitude, GA), and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills to align stakeholders and drive execution.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching product team members is a plus.
  • Ability to travel quarterly for in-person meetings and company events.
