This role offers the opportunity to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge digital cash, programmable payments, and tokenized deposit solutions in highly regulated financial ecosystems. The Product Owner will drive products that enable real-time, compliance-first digital payments across banks, government entities, and enterprise platforms. You will collaborate closely with engineering, regulatory, compliance, and business teams to shape scalable solutions that integrate identity, AML / KYC flows, and programmable finance capabilities. This position allows for strategic influence on product roadmaps, feature specifications, and ecosystem adoption, with exposure to emerging technologies, distributed ledger systems, and global regulatory environments. Travel may be required to support stakeholder engagement and product rollout.
Accountabilities :
- Own the product roadmap and define features for digital cash and tokenized payment systems issued by regulated banks and institutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to translate market needs into scalable, configurable solutions.
- Design user journeys for key use cases including wage protection, government disbursements, cross-border settlements, and CBDC interoperability.
- Develop detailed product specifications for identity-linked wallets, multi-tenant architectures, programmable money, compliance rule engines, and wallet management.
- Embed regulatory requirements into compliance logic, translating evolving rules into operational product functionality.
- Coordinate with engineering teams on API-first integrations with banking systems, payment rails, and identity / KYC databases.
- Define and track KPIs for product usage, compliance adherence, and ecosystem interoperability.
Requirements
8+ years of product management experience, with 4+ years focused on financial services, payments, or blockchain-based infrastructure.Proven experience with tokenized deposits, digital cash, or stablecoins in multi-stakeholder ecosystems.Familiarity with permissioned distributed ledger technology, identity vaults, multi-token support, and compliance-by-design frameworks.Deep understanding of AML / KYC flows, programmable payments, wallet infrastructure, and payment systems (ACH, ISO 20022, RTP, SEPA).Experience working with financial regulators, legal teams, and cross-functional delivery teams.Strong ability to manage product delivery across different regulatory environments (e.g., UAE, Singapore, U.S., EU).Preferred Experience :
Exposure to wage protection systems, government disbursements, or CBDC pilots.Knowledge of multi-tenant financial architectures and embedded compliance engines.Technical fluency with token standards (ERC-20, ERC-4626), API design, and identity-based architecture.Proven success leading global digital payment initiatives.Benefits
