The Program Management Services Division at LaBella provides comprehensive management services for complex projects and multi-year capital programs. Project teams are established to provide a customized mix of business consulting, project management, financial control and monitoring, administrative, and technical support services.
We are seeking multiple Field Technician I and Field Technician II for our AMI group located in NY. Duties for these variable seasonal positions include installations and removals of electric meters, single phase 240 V or less. Additional duties may include inventory and Connex Box management.
Salary Range :
- Field Tech I : $25 / hour
- Field Tech II : $28 / hour
The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Responsibilities (Field Tech I & II) :
Test voltage with a voltmeter.Use of an Ipad to document the meter installation / exchange.Ensure the safe operation of the company vehicle, equipment, and tools during the job. Includes maintaining a clean vehicle.Loading and unloading supplies for daily activities.Completing tasks within time frames set by the Field Supervisor and Project Manager.Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.Ability to work over the shoulders and with various obstructions to the meter and in basements.Submit weekly timesheets on time.Interact with courtesy and professionalism with client customers.Other duties as assigned by the field supervisor.Requirements
Field Tech I :
Some mechanical and electrical aptitude a plus.Valid NYS driver license. Meet LaBella Vehicle eligibility requirements.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to kneel and work over the shoulders.Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions year-round.Electrical experience a PLUS.Travel is required, including overnights across NYField Tech II :
