As a Senior Exhibit Builder you will play a crucial role in the production team, responsible for fabricating top-quality exhibits and fixtures according to specifications. Building projects from concept to completion. This role requires a strong background in Exhibit Building, excellent craftsmanship, and is a seasoned professional with 5-10 years of experience in cabinet making or finish carpentry, capable of leading projects, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring efficient project execution.
Senior Exhibit Builder Job Duties :
- Create 1 : 1 layouts for production based on schematic drawings.
- Specify and request materials and hardware needed for projects.
- Build and assemble goods, products, and displays with a focus on time and material efficiency.
- Install exhibits and fixtures independently and supervise Level 1-2 team members as needed.
- Coach and mentor production assistants to enhance team performance.
- Promote a culture of teamwork and safety in the workplace.
Schedule : Monday - Friday 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm
Senior Exhibit Builder Requirements :
High school education and basic math skills.5-10 years of experience as a cabinet maker or finish carpenter.Experience operating CNC machines is highly preferred.Expertise in finish carpentry, cabinetry, furniture making, exhibits, displays, or events.Additional skills in finishing, acrylic, fiberglass, solid surfaces, sound, lighting, low-voltage wiring, and electronics are a plus.Pay : $35 - 38.50 / hour
Knowledge :
Proficiency in blueprint reading.Familiarity with LED wiring and A wiring is highly advantageous.Skills :
Safe operation of hand and power tools, including table saws.Proficient in operating pallet jacks and hand trucks.Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills.Excellent communication and active listening abilities.Demonstrates flexibility in problem-solving and adapting to changes.Abilities :
