Setting : Emergency Department (28 beds) Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : November 17, 2025 End Date : February 14, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Hours per Week : 36 Shift : Nights / Variable (12-hour shifts; typical start times between 7pm and 3pm) Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1800 ER RN Qualifications & Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or compact state (required) Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience; Emergency Department or Critical Care nursing experience preferred Certifications : BLS (required), ACLS (preferred), PALS (preferred), CPI (preferred) Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam (study guide available) Travel nursing experience highly preferred EPIC EHR experience (preferred) Locals not accepted (must reside outside 50 miles of facility) Emergency Department Nurse Responsibilities Deliver, coordinate, and evaluate emergency nursing care for diverse patient populations : medical illness, trauma, pediatric, geriatric, and mental health cases Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments, develop care plans, and monitor treatment effectiveness Safely administer medications and treatments in accordance with Ohio nursing standards and hospital policies Serve as a liaison for patient care coordination across hospital departments Float to freestanding Emergency Departments as needed Utilize and manage central lines, arterial lines (A-lines), and other specialized devices Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external agencies (EMS, law enforcement, crisis teams) Champion patient safety and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives Demonstrate resilience and adaptability in high-stress emergency situations Educate and support patients and families, promoting cultural diversity and inclusion Take the next step in your emergency nursing career with this travel RN job in Cincinnati, Ohio.
