What You'll Do!

As a Cultivation Supervisor in the cannabis industry, your primary responsibility is to oversee the daily operations of the cultivation facility. You will lead a team of cultivation employees, manage plant health, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations to produce high-quality cannabis products.

Job Responsibilities :

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cultivation employees, including growers, trimmers, and other support staff.
• Provide guidance, set performance expectations, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Oversee the cultivation process, including plant care, nutrient management, and environmental conditions.
• Monitor plant health and assess for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies. Implement corrective measures when necessary.
• Ensure strict compliance with all state and local regulations governing cannabis cultivation.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Implement quality control standards to maintain the quality and appearance of the cannabis crop.
• Conduct regular inspections to assess plant health, flowering quality, and post-harvest processing.
• Optimize cultivation processes to maximize yields and efficiency while minimizing waste and operational costs.
• Coordinate tasks to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of cultivation activities.
• Monitor and manage environmental conditions within the cultivation facility, including lighting, temperature, humidity, and ventilation.
• Adjust and maintain these conditions for optimal plant growth.
• Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment during cultivation activities.
• Provide training and mentorship to the cultivation team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of all cultivation activities, including plant counts, weights, quality assessments, and compliance documentation.
• Oversee inventory tracking of plants, from propagation through harvest.
• Monitor inventory levels and strain selection.
• Collaborate with management, fellow cultivation staff, and other departments to address issues, report progress, and provide updates on cultivation activities.

Qualifications :

Exposure to fertilizer, dusts, odors, high heat, low temperature, high and low humidity, high noise levels, vibrations, water, dry salts, allergens, pollen, dust, plant pathogens, other volatile organic compounds, and other environmental variables.
